Aloha is not just a greeting in Hawaiian. This word carries a deep meaning, just like Hawaii itself, which is much more than beaches and surfing. It is a place where ancient traditions and modern life intertwine.On August 29 at 18:30, we invite you to a meeting with Olga Laikova, a participant in the Professional Fellows Program in Innovation & Entrepreneurship and a project manager at the international consulting company Civitta. Olga spent a month in the U.S., part of it in Hawaii, and this experience became both the most challenging and the most unforgettable of her life.
During the webinar, Olga will share:
- how life and work are organized in Hawaii beyond the tourist areas;
- the discoveries, challenges, and new perspectives faced by an international internship participant;
- how culture, mentality, and even language affect the perception of oneself and one’s profession;
- the benefits of participating in such programs and why it’s worth trying.
Additionally, a representative from American Councils will join the meeting to discuss current professional programs in the U.S.
Who will find this interesting:
Those considering international programs, building a career in a multicultural environment, or simply wanting to see Hawaii beyond the tourist lens.
