American Center Minsk is opening enrollment for a new conversational English course, Everyday English Discussions, designed for adult learners with an intermediate level of English proficiency.
Who the Course Is For
The course is intended for adults (18+) with B1–B2 (Intermediate) English who want to speak more confidently in everyday situations, actively participate in discussions, and improve real-life communication skills.
Schedule and Duration
Classes will be held in two level-based groups:
- B1 — Wednesdays
- B2+ — Fridays
Classes begin at 6:30 PM (Minsk time).
Each session lasts 1.5 hours.
Course dates: March 18 – July 31, 2026
Total duration: 20 weeks.
Course Program
Participants will experience:
- live conversational English practice;
- learning idioms, everyday expressions, and modern vocabulary;
- discussions of cultural and current topics;
- small-group work and interactive activities;
- development of fluency and communication confidence;
- a friendly and supportive learning environment.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, participants will be able to:
- use conversational expressions and idioms naturally;
- express opinions confidently in English;
- maintain conversations and ask follow-up questions;
- feel more comfortable in spontaneous discussions.
Instructor
The course is taught by Adrienne Lane, an English language instructor with nearly 10 years of international teaching experience both online and offline. She holds a Master of Education degree in Curriculum & Instruction (bilingual and bicultural education) and creates a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable speaking and sharing ideas.
Format
Classes are conducted online via Zoom, with a primary focus on real-time discussions and speaking practice.
