Discussion Club: Thanksgiving

Our speaker, Angela Dadak, a tutor from the American University in Washington, will share her insights and experiences of celebrating this special day. Over the course of her career, Angela has taught English to graduate students in California, business professionals in Peru, diplomats in Washington, teachers in Indonesia, and high school students in Poland. Currently, Angela is based in Vilnius, serving as a US English Language Fellow for Belarus.
The session will explore the history of Thanksgiving, its traditions, the dishes commonly prepared by Americans, and the significance of the holiday for various cultural groups. This is a unique opportunity to enhance your English communication skills in a friendly and supportive environment while gaining a deeper understanding of U.S. holidays and traditions.
