Belarusian English teachers are invited to apply for an online course on teaching methods as part of the Online Professional English Network (OPEN) program. Education is free, selection on a competitive basis.

The Online Professional English Network (OPEN) program offers environmental learning opportunities for English teachers, professionals and learners around the world. OPEN is distinguished by mutual cultural exchange and provides free access to textbooks that can be reused, used and shared with others.

In your English class, you probably talk about things like American food and holidays. But perhaps your students want to dig deeper and really understand the less visible parts of culture, such as cultural beliefs and values. Students (and teachers!) want to be critical of culture, but they don’t always have the knowledge to help them analyze and understand culture on a deeper level.
